PERSONAL INJURY / WRONGFUL DEATH

Personal injury law can encompass many types of situations; automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, boating accidents, slip and fall situations – any instance when someone has been physically and/or emotionally injured due to the negligence, recklessness or disregard of another. Any claim for personal injury must involve an injury that can be compensated in the form of money damages being awarded to the claimant. In any personal injury case, it must be determined who or what is responsible; this may be another person, or entity such as a corporation. Each personal injury case if accepted is taken on a contingency fee basis, meaning that the law firm is awarded an attorneys fee only if there is an award of money damages, or funds.

Wrongful Death claims arise from the death of an individual due to the negligence of another. In these cases a family member (Personal Representative) will be bringing the suit on behalf of the decedent to recover money damages for the surviving family and/or Estate.
